[ backdated to before the elves, just when the snow is really heavily piling up! SOMEBODY has just been dumped out beyond the village after her de-hiatus kidnapping, and gave up wading through the packed snow after like five minutes. so she's trying a different tactic.

wherever you are, there's suddenly a girl on an armored penguin calling out for you to WATCH OUT!! as she sleds down the slope, swerving to avoid hitting you....... and then crashing into a tree. awkward. the only way that could be even more awkward is if you'd been unlucky and stepped out from behind a tree, out-of-sight, so that you didn't even get a warning before the girl and her penguin crash straight into you instead. whooops. ]

[ empoleon squawks at SURPRISE PASSENGER OUT OF NOWHERE and surprisingly crashes herself right into a pine. NOT AS PLANNED. ]

[And he makes some fire in one hand in a desperate attempt to warm her up.]

Yeah... We kinda count them differently where I'm from. It's air, water, earth and fire.

Those are pokemon elements, too! But... no grass or ice or steel-types? How odd!

I don't think it's that odd. After all... ice is cold water, and steel is refined earth! Grass is a little tricker, and I am disappointed that I can't bend wood... but then I think it's because plants are alive in a way. So we can only bend the things that support life, I guess?

It definitely sounds like something I'd like to research. But, for the moment, I... I think I'd just like to try to get home.

[ she clasps her hands together for warmth and glances over her shoulder, where empoleon makes her way over after digging herself out of her own snowdrift. whew! ]

Sledding...? I just thought that riding empoleon would be faster than trying to walk there through all this snow.

I'm sorry about that, Platina. Do you wanna sled some more and I'll help him not crash this time? If he can carry both of us that is... or I can just call Appa to take you back? [Since Aang was apparently just... chilling in this obscure area, you know how airbenders are.]

It's fine. It's less painful than a tree, I imagine. And I wouldn't be opposed to sledding more, if empoleon doesn't mind.
