[ backdated to before the elves, just when the snow is really heavily piling up! SOMEBODY has just been dumped out beyond the village after her de-hiatus kidnapping, and gave up wading through the packed snow after like five minutes. so she's trying a different tactic.

wherever you are, there's suddenly a girl on an armored penguin calling out for you to WATCH OUT!! as she sleds down the slope, swerving to avoid hitting you....... and then crashing into a tree. awkward. the only way that could be even more awkward is if you'd been unlucky and stepped out from behind a tree, out-of-sight, so that you didn't even get a warning before the girl and her penguin crash straight into you instead. whooops. ]

[Aang hears a voice calling out while walking near this slopey area and turns to see a sight that seizes him immediately.]

No, he gives an airbending hop forward right onto the back of Empoleon behind Platina, cheering with pure joy.]

[ empoleon squawks at SURPRISE PASSENGER OUT OF NOWHERE and surprisingly crashes herself right into a pine. NOT AS PLANNED. ]

[Aang at least bends the snow and air around them to try to cushion the crash as much as possible.]

[ being meduka is suffering...

aka she doesn't notice it in time at all, she didn't get the warning since she just turned the corner.. so the girl and the penguin crash right into madoka as she shrieks and falls to the ground in the middle of that trainwreck pile. ]

Platina inadvertently body-checks Madoka right into a snowbank with penguin-san, who just kicks her feet dazedly. NOT AS PLANNED... ]

[ Okay, okay, she can calm down and dig herself out of the snow again a moment after, no big deal.. except that did hurt, so she whines a little. ]

[ shakily does the same, wiping snow from her face in as ladylike a manner as she could. ]

[If Shiemi was alone she probably would have been crushed via penguin, but thanks to her skarmory the girl gets lifted into the air before the crash. Skarmy decides to follow the speeding Pokémon as they continue to sled down hill. It's an odd little sight, here. Two girls with two Pokémon whirling down a hill to possible disaster.
At least snow cushions impacts. Though Shiemi is still worried, so she calls to the other girl as they pick up speed to catch up.]
A-are you okay on there?!

[It doesn't look like that thing has breaks.]

[ oh another trainer!! she opens her mouth to reply, but stops short when empoleon crashes headlong into a pine tree and flings her straight into a snowdrift. maybe... she's just going to stay stunned there for a second or two 8|b ]

[Skarmy drops her trainer down by the snowbank. Shiemi stumbles a bit before fussing over poor Platina.]

E-eh!? Are you okay!?

F... fine. Just surprised!

[ wiping snow from her face, oh god that was so ungraceful what even /)_(\ ]

[ Tenten, who was standing perpendicular on the tree, immediately leaps up and wraps her hands around a branch as Platina crashes right into an adjacent tree. ]

A-are you and your metal sleigh all right? [ She swings herself over to the next tree before running down the trunk.

Yeah. She hasn't registered that Empoleon is an actual thing yet. ]

[ empoleon kicks her feet from where she'd been thrown into a snowdrift, while Platina just curls up and clutches her head for a moment because MAN THAT HURT. ]

Am I... wha... right... ow!

Whoa! What is that?! [ Tenten hops onto the ground and looks at Empoleon's feet. She then turns her attention to Platina and offers a hand to help her up. She still keeps her focus on Empoleon, but her accuracy towards Platina's direction is spot on.

[ DUDE HELLO THERE WE MEET AGAIN I mean. Platina accepts her hand, shakily getting to her feet while rubbing her forehead and man, that could've gone better. ]

[Ilyana is one of those less fortunate types who just happens to be stepping out from behind a tree just in time to get run over by the young girl, her penguin, and her sled.]

[ aaand by the time Platina notices she just ran over a poor innocent with her penguin, she and penguin have already crashed headfirst into a tree.

HANG ON, WE'LL BE WITH YOU SHORTLY when the pain stops... ]

[Ilyana seems to be one of the first to recover, finally lifting her head out of the snow to see the girl and her penguin splayed out near the tree.]

A-Are you... okay?

P... perfectly fine!

[ nnnot really. she sways a little as she stumbles off from the tree trunk, rubbing her head. OW, MY SKIN. ]

[He and his mightyena dive out of the way just in the nick of time. Platina meets tree, Ruby meets snow. Everything but his legs are covered as he dangles in his self-made snowbank.]

[ ABOUT TO YELL OUT A SORRY before she headbutts herself right into a tree. ow, pain!! just going to curl up in a little ball and clutch her head aaghhggh. ]

[Clearly: No dexholders are as elegant and classy as we are right now. Luckily for the both of them- one member of this party managed to land relatively unscathed. Nana, being the speedy pokemon that she is managed to land on her feet. Now it's up to her to dig them out of this mess- literally.

One St.Bernard impression of digging her master out later, she makes her way over to Platina to sniff her, possibly pawing at her to inspect her for injury if she's still in a ball at this point.]

[ wincing and shaking her head a little, then cracking open one eye to stare at the unknown pokemon pawing at her. oh, where did you come from! opening both eyes to stare at Ruby. ]
